How to Dress 80s?

RADwood Detroit is Saturday, and I need to come up with something to fit the 80s-90s era. Since my car is 80s as heck, leaning more towards that decade, but I haven’t got much and need something simple.

That guy is a pretty goo d example. Holding a steering wheel which isn’t attached to anything might be unnecessary and cumbersome , though.

I have none of these things. All I’ve found is a jean jacket and it’s gonna be in the high 70s. I have jeans, and converse, but that’s my everyday attire.

White converse all stars, slightly baggy jeans w/ the bottoms rolled up, a 80's band shirt tucked in, w/  a baggy denim jacket.

Vertically striped dress shirt with a patterned tie and wide red suspenders. Finish the outfit off with a cheap plastic rain poncho.

For the early 80s it would be more white Nike with a red swoosh. Later would be black Nike Jordans  or British Nights. Checkered Vans would also work.

Check that, you’re in Detroit. Gotta go as Alex Foley. Levi 501s, cutoff grey sweatshirt and Adidas , or a Lions varsity jacket if you can find one. Alternatively, faded Lions shirt with a black hoodie

A nice button up pajama shirt, a pair of tighty whities, white tube socks scrunched down, and a candle stick to use as a microphone.

Also a bowl cut, parted in the middle.

Well in Hawaii my clothes consisted of neon board shorts/ shirts. I had Vans for when I needed to wear shoes.
